    Re: Which Resort?

I would first narrow down the search to the monorail resorts and the Epcot resorts. In my opinion, there is no comparison to any other resort that is not within walking distance to a park. Now, that being said, it really depends on which park(s) you like better. If you like MK best, go with the Contemporary. If you like Epcot or Hollywood Studios best, go with the Boardwalk/Beach Club/Yacht Club. You can also think about what nighttime entertainment that you think you will most likely being enjoying every night. It's much easier to walk or take a boat back to your resort if you plan on seeing Illuminations or Fantasmic most nights.

    Re: Which Resort?

If you are going to have 2 five year olds with you, I would pick the Beach Club resort. The pool is like a mini water park, there is a fantastic ice cream parlor ("Beaches and Cream"), you can walk to Epcot and take a boat to Hollywood Studios, and you get to say "Hi" most days to "Art the greeter" - one of the sweetest, happiest all around great cast members in all of Walt Disney World!!!!

Although the Contemporary is on the monorail line (making it a breeze to jump over to the Magic Kingdom at a moments notice) I am not the biggest fan of their pool, and I think the the rooms have too much of a grown up vibe for little kids.

I would choose Beach or Yacht club unless you are going to be spending most of your time in the MK. Yacht seems a little quieter than the Beach.

Beach Club for the same reasons posted above.

The Contemporary is nice that its on the Monorail, but its also noisy. I found that late into the evening you tend to get lots of bored kids wandering the halls and the monorails coming and going untill late into the night or early am, can be quite a distraction from sleeping.
