WDW Wedding Question

If you got married in WDW, what did you do for a rehearsal dinner? We need to try and do something inexpensive..

thanks

Re: WDW Wedding Question

Well, we didn't get married at WDW, it was at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Same situation, we wanted an affordable rehearsal...something. We found a gourmet ice cream shop in the hotel and had it there. Our guests loved it, it was something different. Plus, they all wanted to get back to the casino so it worked out.

Perhaps this concept will work for you at WDW. You could possibly get some pastries on Main St. at the Magic Kingdom and head down to the Rose Garden in front of the Castle. It's often a quiet, out of the way place.

Another option you have is the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. It's more affordable than 'Ohana and a great restaurant.

Hope this helps

Re: WDW Wedding Question

Do you want to do it in or out of the parks? How about a rehersal luncheon, that would be much cheaper then a dinner. Trails End over at Fort Wilderness would be affordable at lunch or dinner.

Re: WDW Wedding Question

Your Disney wedding planner is the best person to link up with for this. I;m sure they can suggest and arrange many affordable options.

Depending on the size of your group - I would vote on the Kona cafe as well. The food is just excellent!!

Or how about a rehearsal dessert party instead while watching Illuminations?

Re: WDW Wedding Question

I to am getting married in WDW (Sept 24th) and had the same problem. We finally decided on dining at the Kona Cafe and then go check out Wishes in the MK before our big day. The other idea we had was to go to Epcot and eat at the Biergarten in Germany as it is a set price per person and they had a show to entertain everyone. The only thing we would have to watch out for is the cocktail consumption as that can add up quickly.

Re: WDW Wedding Question

Beaches and Cream would be a fun idea if going for the Ice Cream party idea
