Orlando Disney parks trip with kids.

We want to 4 days trip to Orlando in month of Fabruary-010. Of the 4 Disney parks which one is the must see?? We are traveling with 3 kids, ages 10, 8 and 6? Any suggestion would be appreciate.

With a four-day trip, you can probably see all four parks, if that's your plan. If this is your first visit, I wouldn't concentrate too much on park hopping, with the added cost. For the age of the children, Magic Kingdom is probably your best bet, with the most child-geared rides and character meet-and-greets. At Animal Kingdom, you'll spend more time walking around than doing much of anything else, Epcot is boring to youngsters, and Hollywood Studios is boring to, well, everyone.

Not sure if you mean that you are in Disney for 4 days or if your in Orlando for 4 days and doing other parks or events. Have you ever been to Disney before, if not then the Magic Kingdom is a must. If you have more then one day in the parks then I would choose Epcot next, it's not as kid friendly as the Magic Kingdom but now with Nemo and Turtle Talk and Soarin and the Kim Possible adventure they have made great strides for the younger audiences. I agree with supernova and skip the park hopping option, you will just spend more time on Disney transportation and less time in the parks.

I agree, for SURE the Magic Kingdom, its a must! And I also agree with Epcot as being the second option, I never found it boring as a kid and there's a lot more for kids to do there now than when I was younger! I do however have a cousin who is 7 who loves the Animal Kingdom the best... he loves the rides there and the animals, so if the majority of your kids have a big animal thing than I think its a good option (but still, Magic Kingdom first!)

Re: Orlando Disney parks trip with kids.

I would defintiely get to MK, preferably on the day following their evening EMH, so the crowds will not be as bad as on an EMH day. My kids have always liked both Epcot and DHS. I'd follow the evening EMH and visit the park that had EMH the night before. The only caveat to this plan is fi you want to see Fantasmic, which may force you into DHS on a less than ideal day.

Re: Orlando Disney parks trip with kids.

So as noted MK's a must., however, i don't understand the DHS comments as there is much for young kids... Playhouse Disney a live puppet show (Mikey; Minnie; Goofy; Donald (Clubhouse), Hanny Manny, My friend Tigger and Pooh, and Little Einstein’s) is a great show for the short crowd which ends with kiddos dancing while bubbles rain down. The animation court yard is a great place to find Mickey as the Sorcerer apprentice and the Up characters for autographs+ pics. Pixar Place has toy story mania, elaborate Woody & Buzz autographs+ pics, and Luxo Jr. doing regular performances in the main walk way. Honey I Shrunk the kids playground is a must (hopefully will become Bugs Life theme) and Cars (lightning mcquee and mator) meet N greets near the streets of America. Muppet vision and the Jedi Academy... Lastly Hollywood and Vine character dining with the JoJo and the Little Einstein’s... Nuff said? Have fun!
