A good deal????

I just received an email from Disney with a PIN offering 40% off deluxe accomodations. We are planning a trip for September 2010 (Polynesian) and were hoping Disney would offer free dining again. I called in with the PIN and was offered an 8 night (9 day) Park Hopper (no water park) with Dining Plus at the Polynesian for $4,422. If they offer free dining at a later date, I can decide to take the dining offer OR the room discount - but not both. Is this a good deal? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Please take it easy on me - it's my first post.

I would suggest that you book it, and then if the free dining comes out later you can do the calculations and see which one ends up being a better deal. They'll let you switch the deal later... I had already paid for a few nights for a trip in March and then got a 30% off thing in the mail and they ended up giving us money back and the rooms were $86 a night rather than $125 a night.

Sounds good, go ahead and book, then make changes later if a better deal comes along.
