| Flights When do you think is the best time to book a flight, and what airline would you recommend for the cheapest? I am flying from Rochester, NY or Buffalo, NY to Orlando, FL on June 20, and returning on June 25th. I have been checking flights on priceline.com once and a while and notice that it has gone up within the last couple of days. The friend I am going with is use to hoping on a plan last minute to go to Disney and says you can get cheaper flights closer to the departure date. I'm a planner personality and waiting until the last weekend makes me nervous. Input?

| Re: Flights We flew JetBlue out of Buffalo, and the flights were pretty cheap (less than 100 per person to fly down and just over 100 per person to fly back). Check Southwest, I know they have cheap flights. I just checked for those dates, and depending on what time you want to fly, the cheapest seats start at 69 dollars (nonstop) and go up from there. I'm a planner too so I don't know if I would wait that long, is the stress worth saving a couple dollars?? |

| Re: Flights If you can get $69 each way go for it. I know with southwest the rates go up as you get closer because they allocate a certain number of seats at each rate not the other way around. just looked at your dates on southwest and there is a departure at 4 pm for $69 and 9 am for $94. Return on the 25th was $69 at 1 pm. not bad . I'm not sure how much better you can do than that. good luck and have fun.

| Re: Flights Another flight related questions: For those who fly Southwest Airline, how to do you get to the Resort? I believe Magical Express only takes Southwest Airline passengers to Pop Century, and doesn't do any of the other resorts. If this has changed, then that would be great, but if not, how do you get to your resort? Do you rent a car? taxi? There would be three of us staying at Saratoga Springs (we also may be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House villas).

| Re: Flights We have flown Southwest twice and used magical express and were taken right to Port Orleans Riverside; both times. As far as I know the only difference between any of the airlines is whether or not you can use resort airline check-in, which for Southwest you cannot. We just had to have the ME bus driver put our bags in the luggage compartment and retrieve them at our resort. Same thing going back to the airport. At the airport they check your ME documentation but there was no different line for different airlines or anything like that. The just had a bunch of different lines for all the different resorts. Usually 2 or 3 resorts in a line. I think our line was for POR & POFQ.

| Re: Flights 1) We either rent a car or often have used QUICKSILVER. A "great" limo/van service. Vehicles of all sizes to fit your group. We have always had great service. Rates might be $100 or a little more for round trip Towne car. They keep tabs on your flight so they know if you are delayed and you get a free 30 min. grocery stop..... which is nice when you have a kitchen at your resort. Last time our car was parked right next to ME busses. ........find their website and have a look....... 2) Unless it has changed... you may want to collect your own checked bags to put on the bus so you have them with you at check-in. Otherwise you will have to wait for them to be delivered to your room. Could be awhile. Research this..... I think you would not want to use the luggage tags that ME provides for you!!! 3) also I have read that ME could make many stops along the way. We are always very excited to get to the park..... this could delay you by an hour or more easily... hope this helps |

| Re: Flights we always put our shorts or what ever we need in our carry on so we can change and go right to MK when we get there. Just know that your bags can take 3-4 hours to get to the room.

| Re: Flights Thanks. I must have heard wrong. I have used Magical Express in the past and have had no problems. We just packed some clothes in our carry on and freshened up at the room before heading out and when we got back that night the rest of our luggage was there. When my Mom and my sister when to Disney last, they had to wait too long for their luggage when they used Magical Express and were not as happy about their experience. I guess I will just have to look into more.
