Gift Bags

I am going to Disney in June with two of my best girl friends from high school. I wanted to do something special, but the Disney Florist is kinda pricey, so I decided to do my own thing. I bought some canvas tote bags and ironed on each of our names with a picture of Mickey and some park logos, etc. I am filling the bags with some goodies. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of things to put in them that they would find helpful in the World. So far I've got some snack foods, some disney games, a princess crown, glow sticks, a disney pin, disney princess chapstick, bead necklaces, a Disney princess photo album, a photo frame with a personalized Disney World Haunted Mansion death certificate, drink mix packets. Another other suggestions? I don't want to spend too much money on these. Most I got at the Dollar Tree or similar.

Re: Gift Bags

I don't know if you're going for girlie and fun over practical, but since you're going in June, I'd suggest some battery operated fans (not the spray bottle ones, just little tiny fans that run on AA batteries - we've got some that we've had for years, and bought at Walmart for a dollar each).

Also, maybe some rain ponchos. Our local dollar store has a two-pack for a dollar. They're disposable, and very flimsy, almost like trash bags shaped like ponchos - but they do the job. And given that rain here in the summer tends to be 15 minutes and done, it's nice to be able to take it off when the sun comes back out and not have to carry it around the rest of the day.

Re: Gift Bags

So far I have a lot of girly/fun stuff, but I like your ideas of the mini fan and ponchos! I figure I should add a few practical stuff too. Even if it doesn't rain (fingers crossed) the ponchos will at least be helpful on Kali River Rapids.

Re: Gift Bags

A couple other practical items - sun screen and first aid items like mole skin.

Maybe a Nalgene or Stainless steel water bottle (starting to get a bit higher in price, though

Re: Gift Bags

Disposable cameras are also nice to use for just group photos in the parks.
