| Water Park or DisneyQuest??? I need some advice. I have free tickets to either DisneyQuest or one of the water parks. I plan on taking my nephew to one or the other in May, he will be four at the time of the trip. What would you think would be better, a water park or DisneyQuest??? If you say water park, which one? I have never been to either of the water parks or to DisneyQuest, so I have no idea at all which to go to. Any suggestions would be fantastic!

| Re: Water Park or DisneyQuest??? I've never been to DisneyQuest so I couldn't comment on that part but of the two water parks I enjoyed Typhoon Lagoon more than Blizzard Beach. I haven't been to either water park in quite some time though so my reply could be completely off kilter at this point. I don't know if this helps or not ![]() |

| Re: Water Park or DisneyQuest??? TL, BB, DQ. In that order. I took my 4 yr old daughter to TL and we created some of the best memories and pictures of our lives. Why do something (DQ) we could do in Myrtle Beach? What's better than a lazy river? |

| Re: Water Park or DisneyQuest??? I've only done TL, and never BL or DQ. Just based on what I've heard from other people though..... I've heard that DQ is pretty outdated, if you're really into games its nice, but I hear a lot of complaints about how outdated it is. I like TL, but for the most part I've heard that most people seam to prefer BB, though I've heard that people can get some pretty bad sunburns at BB because of all the white. |

| Re: Water Park or DisneyQuest??? My sons are now 6 & 8 and I still feel they are not quite ready for the immerse experience and dexterity that is required for DisneyQuest. On the other hand, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard beach both have great toddler areas which my boys spent countless hours with activities tailored made for them... hands down, 4 year old. The water parks.

| Re: Water Park or DisneyQuest??? I did Disney Quest when it first opened, i was probably around 8 or 9. I wouldnt suggest that for a 4 year old. I think he'd need to be a little older to fully enjoy it. As for water parks, i think your best bet is Typhoon Lagoon. From my own experience (i have a 5 year old brother), there is more to do for younger children as opposed to Blizzard Beach. Also, as a person who does not completely enjoy water slides, ive noticed that Typhoon Lagoon focuses a lot more on slides with tubes as opposed to body slides liek Blizzard Beach. This allows more people to ride down a slide at one time (double or triple tubes!) rather then sending a child down alone. All in all, i prefer TL

| Re: Water Park or DisneyQuest??? Typhoon Lagoon for SURE! I find I can spend way more time there than Blizzard beach... it has a the snorkeling with the sharks and the way better wave pool, and crushin gushers (I think thats what it's called?) is really fun. I've spent more than one day at TL on a trip and have never been able to spend more than a few hours at BB without getting a bit bored. I did disney quest once and it was okay... I wouldn't do it again though. |
