Disney World activities
I'm going to WDW this June, and I wanted to expand my horizon on Disney fun. Usually we just go to the parks and DD. Is there anything at the hotels to do? Help please
I would appreciate it.

Re: Disney World activities
My family loves going to the other resort to look around and shop at the gift shops! It's really fun! Sitting in the lobby of the Wilderness lodge at the fireplace or at the water features, rocking in a rocking chair! Or even the animal kingdom lodge lobby very interesting! And the contemporary looking at the monorails and shopping!
If your family likes mini golf try one of the mini golf course's!

The fishing excursions are A LOT of fun!! My teenage son has been to Disney so many times, that nothing really excites him anymore -- but he loved, loved, loved boating and fishing behind the Contemporary Resort!

Re: Disney World activities
That reminds me, rent a boat, paddle boat from one of the resorts. Several have them.

Re: Disney World activities
Eat at Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner at Boma, or go a little cheaper with The Mara, then go out back and check out the animals on the savanna. They also have a really cool gift shop with lots of African themed items. Over at Riverside you can take a horse drawn carriage ride, fish, sit around the camp fire (this might be out of season though in june), and take a boat to DTD. They also have Yee Ha Bob playing on certain nights of the week at the bar, it is not to miss!
