2011 Walt Disney World Discounts released

As we reported on Saturday, Disney has released discounts for 2011, including select dates for Free Dining.

On Magic Your Way packages of 4 nights or longer you can receive free dining on the following dates:

10/1/10 - 10/7/10, 10/22/10 - 10/28/10
11/12/10 - 11/18/10, 11/27/10 - 12/2/10
12/10/10 - 12/21/10
1/1/11 - 1/5/11, 1/9/11 - 1/13/11, 1/21/11 - 2/3/11
2/11/11 - 2/17/11, 2/25/11 - 3/3/11
5/27/11 - 6/2/11
8/19/11 - 9/29/11

If you are booking a Value resort, you'll receive the Quick Service dining plan. Those staying at moderate or deluxe resorts will receive the regular dining plan.

Booking codes for these plans are HJ2 for the Value resorts and JL6 for the Moderate and Deluxe resorts (including Deluxe Villas).

Disney has also added a "Free Gift Card Promotion" for select dates as well. If you book a Magic Your Way Package between 10/3/10 and 11/23/10, 11/27/10 - 12/25/10 and 1/11/11 - 2/16/11 you'll receive a Disney gift card worth up to $500. ($200 at the Value resorts, $300 at the Moderate resorts and $500 at the Deluxe Villas.)

Room Only Discounts

There are also "Room Only" discounts available 10/3/10-11/23/10, 11/27/10-12/25/10 and 1/1/11-2/16/11 at up to 40% off rack rates.

Save 25% at Disney Value Resorts and Animal Kingdom Lodge
Save 30% at Disney Moderate Resorts and Grand Floridian Resort
Save 40% at the remaining Disney Deluxe Resorts
Save 40% at Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts
These discounts are available to be booked now by contacting Disney or Dreams Unlimited Travel.

Free dining plan is the best. We are staying at the Pop Century but all we had to do was pay an extra 10 bucks a night to get the regular dining plan. Worth it if you ask me.

We are staying at Dixie Landings for my husband and I 14th ann. We are taking the kids. This is their 2nd time, My 3rd time and hubby 9th time. We are doing the free dining plan as well. Can't wait.

WOW!!

I have never seen this announcement come the year before!
Either they know they messed up the dining plan or 2011 bookings have been slow. I know a lot of people that are holding off going until Fantasyland is done in 2013!

probably the bookings have been slow... i cant imagine any other reason... and yes your right... people are sitting back waiting for the Fantasyland expansion to be finished...

so we booked our trip last week for november, they wouldn't give us free dining because for some reason the week we picked is blacked out for dining plan. 11/3 - 11/10.
but according to this we may be eligible for a $300 gift card because we are staying at PO FQ is it too late to get the gift since we already booked, or is there a chance we could get it? Should I call them back and do I need to give them the code?

absolutely do...! it could never hurt to make an inquiry... whats the worst they could say...? no...? but you never know they may say yes...!

WOO HOO called and received the $300 gift card (upon check in)

So they wouldn't give us the dining plan for that week, but this $300 gift card will be our dining plan, because our 3yrs old doesn't hardly eat so buying the dining plan wouldn't have been worth it for us.
