Disney Dining Plan Snacks for Food and Wine

My parents are going to Disney during the free dining period at the end of September and beginning of October. They are going to be there for the first day of the food and wine festival. They were wondering if they are allowed to use their snack credits at the food and wine.

I figured I could ask my trusty Disney friends. Is that true? Can you use your snack credits from the DDP at the Food And Wine Festival?

I believe you can, it'll be indicated on the price list (what counts as a snack or not). At least that's what other friends who have been there while on the DDP have told me! We are definitely going to be doing that in October, which reminds me, I wanted to read all the menus to see where I would use my snack credits!

Last year while on the DDP we used almost all our snack credits at the food and wine festival. Each kiosk has a menu and most they all had the DP logo for the items that you could use a snack credit for. Hope they have fun.

good to know im going in Oct and i was nervous i wasnt going to be able to use snack credits towards F&W... im even more excited to go now!

Last year they also had a F & W gift card that you could buy and just swipe at each kiosk. Pretty cool.

yeah i just read about it on the website you can go to the Festivle Welcome Center and put $5 to $1,500 on it and swipe it towards food and drinks... i think there may also be other spots to put more money on it if you didn't put enough on

Yes you can. Some how when I was there last year on the last day of our stay we recieved 21 snack credits each. So we used them for the Food and Wine Festival. So you can for sure.

yes diffinately we got back from a trip last Sunday and used snacks at the food and wine fest. Tip use it for the crab cakes and lobster rolls it is well worth it they are awesome and you get the most for your money.
