Stroller transfer during cruise
We are going on the WDW Radio cruise and we have both a pre and post stay. We are staying at POP for a few days before then POFQ after. We have a 6 and 4 year old, so we still need a stroller. We usually bring our single-rider umbrella stroller with us, but we are questioning whether we should this time as it would be pointless on the cruise ship and it is just one more thing we would have to transfer around with our bags. I know the Disney hotels do luggage transfers for resort hoppers. Would it be possible to have the stroller sent to POFQ from POP before we leave for the cruise, then pick it up at POFQ after we are back from the cruise? Do they even do stroller transfers? How long would POFQ hold the stroller before the placed it in lost and found or something?

Re: Stroller transfer during cruise
I can't help you on the transfer thing, but I just read a thing yesterday that said that there are free strollers and wagons for use on castaway cay, and thought you might be interested in that!
"They did have wagons, wheelchairs and jogging strollers. We found them at the tram stops near the beaches (we didn't get on the tram right near the boat, so I don't know if they have them there as well). The strollers were the 3-wheeled jogging stroller, they looked quite sturdy."

Re: Stroller transfer during cruise
Our problem is we don't need the stroller for the cruise.. just for the parks.
That's good to know though.. never know we might need one.

Re: Stroller transfer during cruise
I say give Disney World a call (maybe one of the resort phone numbers?). If they can ship items home, and ship items from the parks to your resort rooms I'm sure they can ship a stroller to another resort for you

I'm sure you already have a solution to your problem, but I am a local and would be happy to help you out. I won't be going on the cruise, but I will be on property for the Princess Marathon. Send me a PM if you still need help storing a stroller while on the cruise.

Re: Stroller transfer during cruise
We have decided to rent strollers at the parks ONLY if the kids need it, which hopefully they'll be tough and not need it.
I know.. I know.. I'm dreaming right.
I do appreciate the offer though!
