    September at Disney?

We're currently considering going to the World this September to get one last hurrah out of our Annual Passes before they expire so what is going in September like? I've heard this is one of the slowest times of year? If so which part? The beginning, middle, or end part of the month? Also is it just so humid and hot to be unbearable or is it warm and more bearable?

Thanks for any and all help.

We were there September 22 through October 1, 2010 and it was very quiet. Other than a 30 minute wait for Splash Mountain (on 9/22), the longest line we faced was 10 minutes. In fact, the lines were so short that we missed some of the cool features in the lines. I will always go in September!

Was it like that at all the Parks? How was the weather? Really hot?

I have actually been to WDW in the beginning, middle and end of September. The beginning being by far the best crowd wise. We arrived the day after Labor Day. Nobody generally will pull their kid from school that early in the school year. The rest of the month isn't bad either, the beginning was just best.

Naw, it is just really hot and humid. I really haven't found much of a difference from August to September. Sorry. The bonus though is you don't have to stand out in long queues so it is very bearable. Switch off between A/C attractions and non A/C attraction. Splash then Thunder.
Small World then Dumbo, Indy then CoP. It works well.

PS-Early September is a great time to get an upgrade at the hotel you pick. As you are about to check in really nicely ask about an upgrade cause there is always empty rooms about at that time of year.

If you do online check-in, it likely not going to happen.

    Re: September at Disney?

It was pretty hot when we went at the end of September - but still worth the price for no lines. Our kids are early risers, so we'd go into the Magic Kingdom first thing in the morning and spend a few hours, then head back to the resort to swim for the middle of the day before heading back into a park in the late afternoon.

    Re: September at Disney?

When we went last september worst wait time was 20 minutes we were there 16th til 26th. The weather was hot but most days bearable. There was one day where it was so hot my crocs started to go soft but apart from that it was bearable. Plus if you go towards the end of September you'll have the option of going to the halloween party which we did and loved last year
