Although I am not "new" to the forums, I kind of am new.
My name is Karen and I live in Connecticut.

I will be at WDW from the 18-24 and then again for the 40 hour show weekend.

I would love to get a WDWRADIO meet in while there in August. Maybe Lou will pick a date while we are there...

The 18th is actually me and my daughter's birthdays!! So you are arriving on a special day!! haha

I think Lou will be in Cali for D23 during the week we will be there Maybe we should get together and do our own "live broadcast" for WDW Radio LIVE!! haha...

Are you going down for any special reason?! Have you been to WDW before? What are you looking forward to the most during your visit?

I would love to try to get down again for the 40 hour show...but I am not sure. :/ Trying to save my money for the 2012 cruise!

We saw the ORIGINAL, original version at DLR last June...sooooooooo glad to hear it's, hopefully, comin' back to WDW!!!

last year when we went to dl too, we saw the tiki room and loved introducing my daughter to it!! ahh...great things!!

I have been to Disney many times before

I try to go twice a year with a different sister and their families and me.
I will be with my oldest sister and nephew in august and with my middle sister for the 40 Hour show.

I can't do the cruise because I am a teacher and in CT we only get February and April vacations.

I would definately be up for a Lou's forum/box people meet up. I really don't know anyone on these boards but would love to meet you all!!!

How old will your daughter be? My nephew just turned 7 the other day so I am hoping to finally get him on Splash Mountain.

I would LOVE to see the new tikki room...that could be our meet?!?! we could all see the show together and get a dole whip! I'll keep my ear to the ground to see if it is really going to be open.

That is a great idea!! If the rumors are true and it will be re-open when we are down there, that would be so fun to do! I love the Dole Whip idea especially!! (I love love love Dole Whips!)

My daughter will be turning 5 while we are down on the trip (she and I share the same birthday, so I will be turning 32 also!)

Splash Mountain would be so fun for your nephew!! If he is anything like mine, he will want to ride it over and over and over!!

That's too bad that you can't make the cruise next year...but you can follow along in the box! I know it's not as much fun, believe me, since I am a box person myself! But you are gonna go down for the 40 hour show. That's awesome! I would love to try to get down there too, but I dont think it's gonna be possible financially.

Probably not...looks like I am still Thursday to Thursday but the rest of the family will stay until sunday not fair.
I have to go back to work Friday.
