Help! 71 days to WDW Honeymoon & 4+ yrs since last trip to WDW

Any and all thoughts, tips, suggestions, WDW/Resort updates greatly appreciated here!

I haven't been to WDW in more than 4 years and my my DH has never been. We have just 71 days to check-in and 69 days before we point the car to WDW for our long awaited HONEYMOON

    Our plans so far:

We're leaving 4-6 a.m. Saturday to arrive WDW Sunday and checking into Swan & Dolphin or a DTD non-Disney hotel for 1 night to relax, see DTD, Boardwalk, etc. and check-in at Pop EARLY Monday morning for a full first day at The World.

We're staying 10 nights at Pop on the free dining package, upgraded to basic dining, with 10-day hoppers.

This is our delayed Honeymoon! We are SO excited it's finally here.

We were married in 2010 but had to delay our Honeymoon because all my vacation time was used on the wedding, DH's relocation to TX the week before wedding, a week in ICU at my son's bedside, and, then, unexpected surgery for my husband.

We considered a short Honeymoon at a deluxe, but decided 10 nights at Pop was waaaay better. And, we're driving down so we'll have a vacation within a vacation.

We're using all TS meals for dinners. We have ADRs at:

    1. Coral Reef
    2. Kouzzina by Cat Cora
    3. Artist Point (DH is from Oregon) (2 TS meals)
    4. Tutto Italia
    5. Kona Cafe
    6. O'Hana
    7. Tokyo Dining
    8. Biergarten
    9. Rose & Crown

We plan to watch wishes from The Poly one night and explore Wilderness Lodge after dinner at Artist Point.

We'll wear WDW Honeymoon buttons and Mickey wedding hats just like we would have if we had Honeymooned immediately after the wedding.

Driving question: Since we'll have our vehicle for a lengthy stay in FL, we are considering purchasing a removable FL SunTag (toll road tag). Good or bad idea? Would the SunTag interfere with our TxTag (Texas toll road tag)? Should we just take a few rolls of quarters for toll roads and laundry at Pop?

I'm feverishly trying to catch up on what's new/changed at WDW. Jennifer at Mouse Fan Travel is great and has really helped us a lot. She gave us a great idea last weekend to make a Disney Box to hold items we buy, need to pack, etc. I came home last night to our Disney Box (thank you DH!) with the items we've already purchased in it.

So, this is what we've got so far. Anything you'd change? Add?

    Thanks in advance!
    ~Jerry & Nancy~

I think you are going to have a great trip and if staying mostly on property won't need a SunPass. Stop by Beaches & Cream then take a stroll aroung the Boardwalk.

Thanks so much for the SunPass info. We will be staying mostly on propery.

Beaches & Cream is going on the itinerary! DH loves peanut butter so a No Way Jose is definitely in order

    Thanks again!

Minnie24 - It is exciting planning someone's first trip to WDW, isn't it! I know you will have fun. POFQ is a nice resort. I go to POFQ every trip to get beignets and coffee at the food court. Yum! I can hardly wait to take DH for a beignet this trip!

Our WDW plans are made, except for our in-room celebration. All I have to do for the wedding is finalize our cake and my flowers this weekend. Then, we just wait for Sept. 3 Bright and early Sept. 4 we'll be at WDW for 11 nights at Pop!

    Have a fantastic time planning!

You need to get to Hollywood Studios early if you want to do Toy Story Mania, the line is always huge and the fastpasses run out early
