    December 2005 Planning

I was looking tonight and may book my room, and then just watch for the AP rates later on.

I booked my room last year at the rack rate and when the AP rates came out I was able to switch to that rate, saved $28 per night!

I have already booked my room for this year hoping for the same results

I made my reservations in February. Since Disney instituted that new Pre-Holiday Season for only the campsites at Fort Wilderness last year, I have just about given up on trying to get any kind of discount.

Yes, AAA are great and probably the best available now since the AP room discounts are disappearing.

I am booked, already have my airline tickets and booked my tours and got my tickets for the xmas party and park tickets. If Disney has any deals all you have to do is call up and have them apply it to your trip that is already booked. I did that last year, I was booked for 4 months prior to going and then they ran that special during the Fall last year and they applied it to my days there, so I got my room for 54.00 a night instead of 77.00 a night. I think the only reason they dropped the prices last year was cause of all the hurricane that hit Fl. Not sure about this year.

I had booked my tour about 2 months ago, and I just know got a coupon with 20% off the tour price, so I called them up and they applied the discount to my tour and credited my account

We are going December 9th and still "discussing" the departure date. Several branched of the family are converging for this trip so some will be there through Wednesday (14th, I think). We're staying off property (collective gasp). I know, I know, but the stupid time share is already paid for, and it's easier to justify multiple trips to WDW in one year when you don't pay for the hotel.
