I'm personally a fan of January, it's not swimming weather but much better then the cold NY winters. You can't beat the prices too! Only thing to watch for is park hours because they aren't as long as summer months but using the EMH when the park is practically empty is wonderful!

Re: Best time of year?
We have been in july/august and April...
July/August was good on one hand because we could fit three weeks in round my job (Im teacher so got to go in school hols) but bad because of the high humidity and the parks were busy.
For April we went for Easter so the parks were really busy but we planned well and didnt have a problem with queues and the whether was just right. Plus we got our picture with the Easter Bunny!
Next year... well we trying end of August - when kids in the US have gone back to school so hoping its a bit quieter but also we will use touring plans to help plan which park to visit on which day :-)

Re: Best time of year?
i've booked a stay for nov. 30 through dec 3 of 2012 is how are crowds at this time
-
Re: Best time of year?
Gunbetalscion you have picked the best time of the year! Christmas decorations and not much of a crowd.

Re: Best time of year?
I have to cast my vote for the first 2 weeks in December. The parks look there best while decorated for the holidays! This used to be one of the quietest times of the year, but in the last couple of years, the crowds have been increasing this time of year...... I think the secret is out!
I do have to say that I myself have only been there in December, January, And February in past trips, but coming from New England, we enjoy going to Florida in the winter months. We will be going to the World next October to experience the MNSSHP at The Magic Kingdom.

Re: Best time of year?
We planned on going in October, due to crowd levels. Because of the Food and wine Festival, does that mean Epcot will be very busy each day?

The weekends can get a little crazy because of all the Florida residents, but overall during the week its very much like the regular reason. When we were there, Test Track had an approx. wait of 45-60 minutes, and Soarin' is always ridiculous. Its what you would normally expect in EPCOT, except your much more full and tipsy. Go ride Test Track after a few drinks, its a very different ride haha

Re: Best time of year?
The best time to visit is today, next best is tomorrow.
My vote would be split. End of May is amazing for Star Wars weekends. For a regular non-event visit, you can't beat our last trip, Dec 31st to early January.

Re: Best time of year?
On our last trip - back in 2010 - we started our visit at the end of October so we could take in Halloween and finished it in Novemeber allowing us to see most of the Christmas decorations too! ;-)

Re: Best time of year?
I like early September, October, or January. We're not big on crowds, and we've yet to had bad weather.
-
Re: Best time of year?
Right Now! This week. The weather has been outstanding and the crowds have been the best since mid November.

Re: Best time of year?
Just booked to go back at the end of October / beginning of November 2013... Our favourite time to go ;-)

Re: Best time of year?
IMHO.......late April into the second week of May is best.....crowds are minimal and it is good a hot..but minimal humidity.
We love going to wdw in late April-mid May.
