I've been planning a vacation (to where else?) for some friends, and wanted to share some advice I'm giving them:
If you are traveleing with young children, you should not go to the Magic Kingdom as your first park. Visit Epcot, MGM, and DAK first. Why? Because the MK is so child-oriented, with the attractions, shows, characters, etc. some of the other parks (e.g. Epcot, with its education overtones), may seem like a "letdown" and be far less enjoyable for children, who expect the same type of experience they receive in the Magic Kingdom.

Agreed... I guess it depends on the children and their ages, too.
