Going back in late February...what can I expect?

I have taken only 4 trips to WDW and most of them were when I was a kid. I just got back from my first trip in 11 years(5/20/05-5/29/05) and it was awesome. I have never been in February and was curious what I should expect. I know it's going to be off season so I was wondering how many rides are going to be shut down for maintenance? Also, how does off season affect Magical Hours as we ill be staying on the resort this time?:grin: I am all about getting there when it opens and leaving when it closes and I hope it stays open late. This is a good question. DW and I and family will be in Kissimmee for the whole month of February next year. While we might not be at WDW everyday, I was wondering myself what the parks will be like then. Hope you get some good responses.

I can tell you what it was like in mid-February this year...
The weather was nice, we didn't get any raind while we were there.
However, it was cold, cold cold at night. Especially standing next tot he water watching Illuminations. We had on fleece jackets and still wanted to find some more warmth.
The crowds were not that bad, except for the Magic Kingdom on Sunday. The days were nice.
They did have Extra Magic Hours while I was there, but the park hours were shorter overall.

Yeah I was curious about the magical hours and the crowds. I heard that the EMH were shorter which isn't so bad if the crowds are smaller too. I can't wait to go in Feb. This will be my first trip there around that time frame. We always go during the summer. I gotta get my fix....:)

that ugly four letter word, work (Tampa has five letters!), has had me tied up.
