I am sure this has already been discussed somewhere but I couldn't find it!
What do people take with them for a day in the park? I thought we could make a list as it might be useful for people going to WDW for the first time.

Please explain. Surely not the skin of a small brown rodent?

Haha. Sorry about that. Moleskin is a very thin, brown cloth that is made by Dr. Shoals. It's designed to be used on blisters, or to prevent them. You put the cloth on your skin where you have a blister, or where you think you might be getting one, and the moleskin helps to reduce friction on your skin.
Sounds like good stuff - and probably better than sticking a small dead animal on your foot! lol!

Baggies or better are zip lock bags. They keep stuff dry like tickets and can be used to dump candy, food and other stuff into. while in line eat away then dump in bag and ride.
Wet wipes or hand sanitizers
Credit card or atm card
I am on a very special diet so the parks make me sick. FOOD.
Frozen water is great for later in the day. I would fill half full a bottle to save on the weight.
Pen and paper for taking notes to post here or elsewhere.

A small tube of hand lotion
I tend to travel light, and I've been to WDW more times than I can count so I probably wouldn't take as much as a first time traveler.
There are four in my group, all adults. My mom carries a tiny backpack and she carries everything for everyone in it.
We bring:
Camera
money
sunblock
ponchos
2 Cellphones
couple packets of headache powders
That's about it. My mom is the only one who wears sunglasses so she keeps up with them. None of us wear hats....no waterbottles....no fans....no snacks....we don't like to have to carry anything around, and we have no kids so there are no strollers to put stuff in.
All great suggestions so far. One thing that I loved having on our last trip was a clear plastic ID holder. Lots of people have them for work and such. I got a pack at Office Depot well before the trip and thought the extras would be handy down there. It was nice 'cause it held our room key, annual pass, fast passes, credit cards, ID, and money with no problem (They sell similar items at the theme parks). It was nice 'cause everything you need was in one spot (made it real easy to find in a back pack without having to carry a wallet). Also, the plastic was a perfect cover in case anything got wet. I'll definitely use them again!
Moleskin is truly one of the greatest things in the world (I dare say it's right up there with M.L.T.).
