Is anyone planning on buying a pair of Madeline Beth rhinestone Mickey ears to wear on their trip?

I don't think I've seen them, but they certain sound like something I'd consider! I still have my gold pair and a black pair. A third sounds like a necessity. I'd hate to be under-dressed for a special occassion.

They're on Disneyshopping.com for $1200.00. : ) They would definitely be a collector's item, but on the other hand, you could probably pay for a WDW trip for two for the same price. : )

HMMMM...wonder if I would have enuf patience to make a pair myself? So what if they dont have real austrian crystals, who's gonna know unless you tell em? Joann's sell little tiny gemstones in lots of colors. Anyone want to pick me up a pair of adult basic ears? I will pay you for shipping etc.

If I start on it soon I might actually finish them B4 Sept 07 ...lol

If you are serious about doing this, I'd look into a broker that will get you way more than the little packs at Jo-anns. If you type in rhinestones on google, you can find almost any color you want, with a lot of rhinestones for the money. Different sizes and everything. I use the internet when getting rhinestones for dance costumes...it helps a WHOLE lot!

rhinestone mickey ears would be awesome to have, but i would never get any because they are way too expensive.

According to the disneyshopping website, the one that they are selling has 4000 crystals on it. I guess if you're willing to spend all that time, it would be a beautiful accessory for your trip! You'd have to work pretty hard to get it done before Sept 7th!!! (Even if you ordered it, it would take 4 weeks for delivery due to the handmade nature of the product!) If you end up doing it, please please please post a pic! I would love to see how it turns out!

Oh, I thought of something else! They look like a pair of the gold ears or a special pair of white ears with Gold trimming.

I saw those on the website the other day and thought they would be awesome to own...but i don't have that much disposable income...my sister was telling me she could make them for way less than that as well! Good luck to you! I bejeweled my cell phone and i lost patience toward the end!

Ahhhh!!! That makes a LOT more sense! : ) Vixen always has the best ideas! : ) I am really thinking about putting my vaca off until April instead of the end of September. If I have that much time, I might be able to make a pair for my daughter. : ) Not sure that she'd wear them, but they'd be great for the parade and fireworks!
