First stop when you get to WDW???
I was just reading the "First stop in Magic Kingdom" post and was wondering...
Upon arrival at Walt Disney World...what is the first thing you go do...after checking in of course?
My family and I have a long standing tradition, going back for about 12 years now...
We check-in at our hotel, send the luggage to storage (if the room is not yet ready) and we head straight to Epcot for lunch at the rstaurant in Mexico.
We usually arrive in the morning and the timing is perfect for a nice lunch...
I was just wondering if anyone else has a regular plan on arrival???
VACATION CLUB MEMBER SINCE 1994 Married at Disney Wedding Pavillion 2003 I have spent 418 nights at Walt Disney World since 1971!!! Does that make me a freak?

We check in and head directly to the bus/monorail, depending on where we are staying on property. Unless we arrive at like 10 at night, we are heading to the MK!!!
Get a few hours of "magic" in before we go to bed and get refreshed for the next disney day.
I am in need of some Disney magic!!

We usually hang out at the hotel after we check in, and when we're ready, go to DTD and eat at the Rainforest Cafe!!! (We usually get to WDW around 4-5 p.m.)

Usually, we don't do anything the first day outside of the hotel. We usually leave around 10 in the morning and arrive at about 3. At the time when we check in, we go to the resort pool and swim for the rest of the day.

We usually arrive reall early in the morning, so we check in and get changed in our suits and head right to the pool, and grab some lunch. We then shower and head to the RainForest for an early dinner, and just walk around DTD, and go to bed early and start out fresh the next day at MK.

We don't really have a set plan. It depends on what's going on. Our October trip will probably take us to MK for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, if our first trip is in the evening (and it's on). However, I'm betting that our first all day adventure will definitely be to AK to ride Everest! We also plan to spend a good part of a day in Epcot grazing through the Wine and Food Festival.

First stop? The RESTROOM!
Then we head for Epcot for a nice lunch, just like Mickey Bose, only we start at the other end and eat at Le Cellier!
-
This time, we are headed to MGM first to dine with Jo Jo.

Flying in from Southern California, we usually don't get in until about 3:00pm and are in our room by 5:00 just in time for dinner. Last time we checked out our resort, went to our priority seating at the California Grill and watched the fireworks from the observation tower.
Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.
