Ok...I consider myself a pretty good computer gamer...but, what is the purpose of this game??? I walk around, say hi to people, play a couple of decent Disney games, buy Mickey hats....but I get bored pretty easily. I suppose the game is for those (much) younger than me....I dig the graphics and the Disney atmosphere...but I just don't get it.
On my next trip to WDW, though, I will make sure my daughter creates a character that is "born in the park". Maybe she can teach me some tricks!
Well alot of the fun of it is building a game room, trading for rare items, and there is also a hidden mickey game that I had a ton of fun finding them when I first started.
Most of all I like it because of all my new friends I've made here. We get together, build rides, play games, and just hang out and talk.

but now it's evolved into a social clubs gathering with hardcore disney advertising. Not that I'm complaining, they put their product marketing into a form that is actually fun and interactive (WITH THEME PARKS) and for what it's purpose is, and in my opinion, probably the best idea in advertising they've ever (and will ever) come up with. They could even charge and I'd pay to play, think of all the plz plz plz plz plz's that would destroy! I kind of hope they charge a reasonable fee for that purpose of serenity.. but back on topic..
Playing the game now and days requires you to find people that you think you'd like to befriend, and hang out and enjoy the kingdom (and guest rooms) that's been graciously provided. But for me, I've never gotten bored (sleepy maybe) in the Virtual Magic Kingdom because I am one of those die-hard disney fans they talk about. I could play pirates for hours just to hear the theme music. I could play the music mix game for hours because it reminds me of my one and only visit to PI back in the day.
But most of all, the purpose of this game, is to transport you back into The Happiest Place(s) On Earth! Virtually of course. :mickey:
got a mickey sorcere's hat!!! :yahoo:
umm.. glad to of helped?
Thanks! I'll have to try it again.
I have to admit that I'm a little leery of talking to people on the game, it seems geared toward teens and I wouldn't want to send the wrong impression (I'm 37).

Granted, I'm too old to play this, but this is as close to being at WDW as I can be for 8 more months. I keep to myself for the most part. I need some tips for getting more than 20 points a game on the Jungle Cruise and a way to get past being a "guest". Thanks in advance
It would be great with a addition to the game you could get some realtime live feed from the park to experience what is truely happening at that moment onsite
I would just like something else to do while I am sitting in queue!!!
:musa:
