Scams...

I'm starting to think of cute or boot as a scam too.....even though I do enjoy the game , I'm getting sucpicious. It was probably started so the owner could make a person "pay" if they said boot , so then if that person did get a prize - it would probably be worth less than how much they payed. When I play - I either pay if I have like an extra clothing I don't need , but that's it , because that's about the lowest value item you can give ( other than NPC pins , but I collect those ) And if I don't have anything in low value ( even if it is a crate ) I'll just watch because I don't think having to pay is right. Oh yeah , and I went to a cute or boot game once - and the owner was only making the people with the most rare outfits and rare pins pay...she didn't say that - but I could tell because most of the people with rare anything on got boot.....HMMMM......someone was probably looking for rare.

Oh and BTW - I asked Lou to put a lock on Blue Prints table so guests to the site can't view it ( that's so we don't get ideas stolen from it )

I got scammed once but thats when i just got my name, this girl was giving out where the codes to get all the magic pins.. AND I FELL FOR IT!! :( but i didn't know any better.

Beware of falling chairs with rare prizes. A lot of the time it is a carefully orchestrated trap. I've seen this being conducted with some ex-friends of mine. They use a couple people at a time. 1 to run the game and a couple more to play. Usually, they will be told to win and given slightly noticeable advantages. Sometimes they'll lose on purpose to do the revenge option. Also, these actors won't have to pay to stay in, they just act as if they do pay

BEWARE!

If you get IMed by a title "VMKplayer" he claims he is an old staff member and if you give him ur account info he will log onto your name and enter codes.

Not the same Person as VMKplayer on these forums!!

yeah but you don't have to pay. you can just run out when they ask for a bill :) there's no way they can report you anyways you didn't steal anything :lol:

but some times they make ya pay as soon you walk in!!!!

..good point. but there are also other cafes where you can say you're with someone when you're not ;)

and then there are those other people who ask to try on your top hat saying they believe in the dude up above or something. to me thats really wrong!!!
