Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a shot (well, 5 shots) and I'll get back to you on my success.Originally Posted by King Tryton

What will you celebrate?
Adult daycare for the kid inside you.
I believe that it is 6 shots, not five. As soon as you fire 6 shots at it (without the Kraken going back underwater again) you will have destroyed it and it will stay afloat (and not move of course).Originally Posted by mini-V

I did it! I did it!I must have had a very hardy kraken in my game because I fired on him and was quite sure all shots hit and it never "floated". The suggestions in this thread did help a lot. Will I try for a second ship? NO THANKS!

I prefer to fire 5 shots while having a lead. this allows me to bump the skull, fire remaining shots, giving me time to turn around and make a heading to my next skull.

Will anyone trade the item you get in the Kracken round? I can't seem to beat it.

The Item in the Kraken round would be a middle section, plus a bonus code ( which is usually a mast). I'm still working on extending my ship which means mids are at a premium especially since they are cheap and only give you one side. I can hook you up w/ a mast though, and when i'm done building if you're still having trouble I'll hook up again- free of charge.
Edit: Today the game finally started giving me 2 mids per win, Maybe my ship will get done sooner than I thought. That is one filthy Kraken though.
