I found TREASURE today!!!!!!

It's my mom's birthday today right? So I went to town to find a "rare" precious moments statue at a nice little antique shop. Well being as slow as the ol' lady clerk was, I had time to look around and what do I find??? A Disney pictorial souvenir book that used to be available in get this.. 1963!!! Or at least, that's what the "National geographic society-photograph" airal pic of WDW describes on the inside cover! I found that, and a mint condition 1972 Magic Kingdom park map, complete with class-ticket prices and pictorial instructions from "GAF" photography products on how to use a camera! This is all very valuable to me omg omg!

I also found a mint 1963 TV Guide that covers JFK's assination and puts about 30 cigarette brands in your face, a Busch Gardens park map from 1972 and a post card book from BG with no date.

The lady almost didn't want to sell me the stuff after observing my excitement, but I managed to get all this stuff in AWESOME condition for ten bucks woot!

King wants to know where in FL you get mortars, and why only 32?

32 is like his opening round on the 4th. Firework battles with neighboring subdivision.

Unfortunately, my parents are the neighbors who think their house is going to burn down from fireworks, so I'll probably go to Tampa and light them off with friends that would actually enjoy them.

And there's about 6 tents spread out all over Ocala with sweet deals on mortars, just gotta sign for them.

Ya'll are lucky that you're able to shoot off fireworks in the first place. Colorado is in such a "drought" that the governor has banned fireworks throughout the ENTIRE state. It's been like that for a good three or four years now too. Ugh. Maybe I'll just come to one of you guys' 4th of July celebrations this year.

Congratulations on the sweet find. We only allowed to have sane and safe fireworks. The city for 40 years has said safe and sane only. Every year the rockets, fires, and guns go off. Have fun and be careful.
