Disney takes a look at building Hawaii spot

Walt Disney Co. is looking to build a stand-alone hotel in Hawaii.
Disney representatives have told the Star-Bulletin that Hawaii is on the list of places the company's Parks and Resorts unit is scouting for potential new hotels.

Disney and Hawaii- a match made in corporate profit heaven. I lived in Hawaii for 7 years and I loved it so much, I think my heart is there. And I love all things Disney (except AK) so this is fabulous. I hope they really buy and build and then I guess it will be part of the Disney vacation package thing, they could even add the Disney Cruise Hawaii, since the islands are already well schooled in cruise handling. That would be double awesome!! Hope this is a go Disney Ka'anapali, Princeville, Waikiki and Kona now boarding. Yeah!!
