I don't know if I could handle GrumpyDude on the road. I think our taste in hotels might clash with eachother. I've never seen a Marriot and Motel 6 next to each other. I think the distance between us now is a good fit.

The Disney World Trivia Comedy Hour does have a nice ring to it though.

I just got my first, and apparently last, issue of Disney today. I am not happy about the decision.

So if it is true, which mag should I get...Disney Adventures or Family Fun?

That's about as official as it gets. So much for customer service.

Todd - Family Fun is recipes, crafts, travel advice, book/movie/DVD reviews, aimed at families with children (mostly preschool through late elementary, though some for younger/older kids). It's a good magazine, with a bit of Disney-specific info. Disney Adventures is a smaller-sized mag aimed more at the 'tweens.

I got my refund right before we left for our WDW trip...so that was the middle of June. If I were you, I would call again. BTW....if you charged your original subscription, then they would have just credited your credit card account. You might want to check that first before you call again.

They credited our credit card within two weeks of me calling last month. They sent me a letter stating that.

They told me when i called on thursday (8/25) that it takes 6-8 weeks to process if i don't hear by the middle of September i will call them again

I received my refund at the mid/late part of July. It took around 4 weeks to get it, which surprised me. I figured it would be longer. The funny thing is that on the same day I received the refund, I got a letter saying that my refund is being processed and I'll get the check within 2 weeks. LOL!! Well, *technically*, that's correct.....
When I expressed my disappointment that the mag was being stopped, the cust svc rep took my name and phone and said that someone would call me (not "maybe", but that they *will* call). To this day, I have not received a call. But I'm not surprised. Another typical "company line" they pass along.
