D23: Disney Studios and Archives... Ticket date set, who's going?

They have finally set the date for when you can get your tickets! Just look below... Good luck getting them, but please wait till I get mine before you do!So, who is planning on going?

5.14.09 - D23 Members will have the rare opportunity to enjoy a 2-hour tour of The Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Archives, hosted by D23 and Archives staff. Only two dates are available for the Summer 2009 Calendar, and space is limited.

Dates: Saturday, June 27, 2009 and Saturday, August 15, 2009
Location: The Walt Disney Studios, Burbank, California
Time: 10 a.m.
Tickets Available: June 15, 2009, 11 a.m., PST. Please check back here at that time for the link to the ticketing Web site.
Cost: FREE!

Available only to D23 Members in good standing. Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and one (1) guest. Members may only participate in only one of the two tours this summer. There are a limited number of tickets available. D23 Members will be required to provide their membership number when reserving tickets. Tickets may be picked up only with a valid photo ID and the Member's D23 membership card. D23 Members who do not bring their membership card, may not be admitted to the event. All D23 Special Events are subject to change without notice.

Booked my air and hotel, now just waiting (& hoping) for tickets!

I am hoping too to get tickets. That will be so great to be able take that tour.

Looks like I am not going to make it. Disney opened the tickets early, and they were gone for both dates in a matter of a minute. Hopefully someone here was able to get them! Let us know!

Yep, not a happy camper. I tried right at 11:00:00 and it said already full. Not handled very well.

As long as a few people here were able to get some tickets, and takes their cameras and tells us LOTS of details, I will be happy. I did get a message from D23 saying that they are going to try and do a few more later this year.

I know Lou got his tickets, so I'm sure we'll get good coverage...

FYI, see the story in the forums at Micechat.com where Steven Clark talks about possibly adding more tour groups on those days to accomodate the waiting list. Sorry, tried to add a link, but my post count isn't high enough...
