I can't wait to see it!
So what does everyone think about the new 2D animated movie that is coming out? This is the first 2D movie to come out since Home on the Range was supposed to be the last one.
I think it's great to see that they're returning to 2D animation after their CGI movies that were adequate in the box office. Having John Lasseter leading the animation department definitely helps and its the first 2D movie since the end of the Disney Renaissance.

I am very excited to see this film. It's great that Disney is returning to their element; please leave the CG to Pixar.
I feel that this movie will launch a new revival of Disney 2D animation. I just hope that it will live up to the expectations.![]()

I'm looking forward to seeing it with the kids.
I can't wait to see this. The teaser trailer looked excellent, so I'm very excited to see the real thing!
OMG! My brother and I are practically counting down the days until Dec. 11! We're definitely going to go opening day! I don't think I've been this excited in a very long time!
All of the characters seem really interesting, and the music (as previewed on the website) sounds promising. The animation that's been shown so far is simply beautiful, and Dr. Facilier is shaping up to be the coolest villain since Hades! Naveen and Charlotte both seem funny and interesting, and Tiana may just usurp Belle as my favorite Disney Princess!
My quiz bowl team made it to the national competition this year, and we had to vote on going to the leg of the competition in Chicago, Washington, DC, or New Orleans. I voted for New Orleans simply for the "The Princess and the Frog" connection! (It is where we ended up going, BTW, and now I feel a much stronger connection to a lot of the things that are going to be in the movie, like jazz, voodoo, beigneits, etc.)
It's great to see some 2D again. I want both 2D and 3D animation to remain popular!!! I can't wait to see it.
The trailer gave me chills.I can't wait for this movie. I don't know where disney would be heading without John Lasseter in the movies and parks... I can't wait to see what else he has in store!! The preview just embodied magic.... and New Orleans is the perfect setting!!
But I do warn Disney, and this scares me quite a bit... Get people hyped up, but DON'T make them so excited that nothing could live up to their expectations....
The Golden age never was the present age… but with human liberty we can fulfill the promise and meaning of America. To everyone a chance. To all people, regardless of their birth the right to live, to work, to be themselves, and to become whatever their visions can combine to make them. This is the promise of America...And I foresee the American adventure to continue for a long, long time!
