Did you happen to watch the video? At first I thought the segments of the robots in action were simulated, as in pixels on a screen. But towards the end, to demonstrate the algorithm's ability to restore the shape after the robots have been scrambled, someone walks into the frame and moves them around, making it clear that you were watching robots move themselves around the whole time.
My engineer DS will like this.
