Really, Walt? Disneyland is MY land? Why would I want a silly little land when I can have the WORLD.

Re: Disney Legends
You have to remember that the Disney Legends honor people who have, for the most part, a long term association with the Disney company. So, while you may think Ray Watson is scraping the barrel because he served as Chairman for one year he also was on the Board of Directors from 1972-2004. I like that fact that they include all departments not just people the public considers stars

I saw that in the theater with my son, and considering that we were two dudes watching a "girl's movie" we thoroughly enjoyed it. Trust me, give it a chance. I'd watch it again. It's more than a "Princess" movie. It's just a really well told story. I think we have John Lasseter to thank for that.
I agree 100% about Tangled. It truly is a great film. While it's soundtrack will never be up there with other "princess" films, the movie itself should be a classic for years to come. As for Princess and the frog, i thoroughly enjoyed this movie because of the attention to detail. The animation was brilliant--the scenery beautiful.

Al Konetzni, Walt's "idea man" with character merchandise for 30 years, signed my Legends Certificate, and sent along a signed picture of a Mickey collectible he created that sold for 54,000 for Make-A-Wish, a copy of an article bout his military and Disney careers, and a copy of a photo he drew for President Bush and the letter he received back from the White House, signed by the president. Nice addition to my Disney Legends collection.

Re: Disney Legends
That's awesome. Catching up on this post, it seems like many of the legends are quite gracious and sometimes downright generous with the requests

Re: Disney Legends
Thanks! This has been one of those "labor of love" projects, trying to hunt everyone down. I've missed out on so many that I would have loved to reach. Others, especially those residing overseas, are very hard to find. Richard Sherman gave me his brother's home address in the UK, but I still haven't heard back. And so, the project continues.
