Hi there. The college program is a great program, and experience. I'm not positive about how many students are on the CP, but I have heard about 6,000-8,000. It is not too hard to get accepted to the CP, as long as you are in good standing with your school, have completed one semester, and have a good personal record. If you have any more questions about the CP, feel free to ask here (I've done it twice).
is it scary? It seems like no matter what you go for there is ALOT of responsibility. I mean I've worked before but only in a movie theater and a grocery store and I was always responsible for the money and customer satisfaction. It seems like there so much more to worry about in the college program. I really want to apply but the only thing that I think I can do a great job at is vacation planner. But that’s only because the thought of having to operate a ride for so many people scares me a lot. I mean I think it would be great to be able to work at WDW but there's so many things that would freak me out. Like what if a customer complains I've never seen a manager anywhere. I really want to apply but I'm a chicken. Although just imaging helping a family plan their perfect vacation does put a smile on my face. But still how is the experience is there alot of pressure. Would you recommend it? Did anything ever go bad?
Also I'm worried about my college credit hours. What are the classes like and stuff do you get hours?
For me, it was a little scary during my first CP because I had never really been away from home except for little trips. I commute to school, so never dormed. However, after a few weeks I got used to it and was fine. I never really had too much pressure. You have a lot of training, so it's good.
