Disney Professional Internship

I don't know if any of y'all have heard of the professional internship that Disney has, which I didn't know about until earlier this year (school year, that is). I haven't emailed them yet, but has anyone done it or plans on doing it? Here's the link if you want to check it out for yourself. http://disney.go.com/disneycareers/i...hips/home.html Anyway, I am very much interested in this b/c I believe it will be just perfect if I could get the internship right after I graduate (it says that I could still apply for a summer position as long as I am a current student) and would love to either be an event coordinator or work in the human resources department (I'm a human services major, but there is a fine line between those two & human resources isn't offered at my school and I am not switching majors b/c I'm already halfway through). With the degree I have, we are required to do internships, so I'm hoping if I can find agencies that offer those kinds of positions, it would look good on a resume. Anyway, mainly, if you have any tips or information about it, that would help. I'll e-mail them either way, but if anyone has done the professional internship, please tell me your experience. No offense, but I'm not quite interested in the college program. It's great for what they get to do, also, but I'm more of a behind-the-scenes type of person. Anyway, anything would be grateful! A lot of the internships you have to have done the college program. If you look at the requirements they say "Disney College Program Alumni" when you are searching through their internships.

I'm sure they have some for non-Disney College Program Alumni, but the ones listed on their websites are basically just for alumni or so all the ones I've found are.

I applied for a few and I was told I was not qualified because I was not an alumni, so you may want to think about the college program.

No offense taken for me, but just about all of the PIs require you to have done the CP first. Just a little heads-up.
