HI!!!! Im very excited I'll be doing my interview Tuesday Jan 22!! Just wanted some advice and what kind of questions do they ask?
They try to get your overall feelings about the company. Questions will range from "What do you think of when thinking of Disney?" to questions about situations you could encounter with a roommate. Just be relaxed and enjoy yourself, they want people who are willing to talk about the company and how they feel about it. Most of the interviewers are pretty cool, so it shouldn't be a really difficult interview. Good luck and hope we can call you a fellow CM. Personally I think, once a CM; always a CM.
Sorry I've never had an interview before, but hopefully this fall I'll be having one.
Good Luck!! :mickeykid
There are many questions they could ask. They range from personal questions ("why do you want to do the college program?") to questions about the roles you selected. It's not that bad, and remember to smile and have fun. Good luck!:)
Good luck...I've had a couple with them on both coast...job just didn't fit. My talks have been "backstage" positions so a lot of time was spent on technical skills and management. They did want to know why I wanted to work for them, etc to get a feel for my feelings ( WillWorkForCheese.com should have given that away - grin). Also meet with recruiting in person on my recent trip and still have fingers crossed on that one. From what I've seen, this is a long journey depending on what level you're coming in at and just keep a positive attitude (how can you not talking about Disney, I know)
One question that I remember that has never left me was when they asked what character do you see yourself as. Think of your favorite character and you'll notice that your personality is similar is some ways. I chose Goofy because growing up I was always the tallest and was very gawky. I also noticed other little things like being eager to please, but always seems to mess up simple jobs, and keeping a good attitude no matter what happens. When I said that, the interviewer said, "All that from Goofy?"
If you've been there before talk about your passion for it. I think that helped me out for it.
