Fall Advantage of '09?!

Got in the Fall advantage 2009! got costuming role and I am not sure which dates i would go more likely i would go on june 15.

Megs and joanna, I finally got in ... jsut found out from my email and i am thinking hard if i want to go but i really do want to go since this is more like of my last chance to get in so i cant imagine myself turn down this awesome experience!!!!



the questions are what is costuming role really mean? I know its work with costumes and wash all the roles' costumes ( work uniforms). but is there other things to it?

what do you do if pay rate is ehh not best pay. i found out i will only will get 7.21 per hour as my pay rate. So, what do you think? i am little unsure but appeal to the experience itself.... mmmm please help me out because i have to make decision by may 11......

YAY!! im so glad for you! i knew if you were patient you'd get good news!

whether you decide to go or not is up to you, but my opinion is that regardless of the pay, its a once in a lifetime experience with so much to offer, and it is a program that willl only keep getting more difficult to get into as there are more and more people interested in the program every year. do what's right for you, but either way, im glad you got a job offer

Woohoo, congrats!! I knew you could do it.

This is what I got from the website:
Issuing costumes to fellow Cast Members throughout Operations and Entertainment Locations
Operating a computerized costume checkout system
Working around performers in various stages of dress
Operating basic laundry equipment
Repetitive overhead reaching, bending, and heavy lifting
Moving heavy costumes from location to location
Handling and laundering soiled garments

So it sounds like you do a lot of sorting of costumes, washing, and if you get entertainment costuming you will be assisting the performers with the costumes.

I wouldn't worry about the pay rate either. I've had 2 roles with the lowest pay rate (and am doing my third in Aug). It is really easy to save money. Good luck!! Hope to see you in FL.

By the way, I am curious who is go to check in on June 15? I am planning check in by june 15 along with my friend if she make it ( i hope she do !!!) however, i am just curious if i would ever get to meet anybody there on the day check in .
