Nervous, excited and slightly confused

Ok I have quite a story and I need TONS of help...I hope I'm of no bother...

First off this Disney College Program is a complete dream come true for me, I heard about it through my mom's friend's friend who was a recruiter for the program and every since its been my goal. Sadly I haven't been doing so hot in high school. I'm a total brain I can retain tons of information but I can never bring myself to turn papers in, but when I'm at work I'm a total work-a-holic and put my all into everything I do. So unfortunately I'm taking my GED test in the winter and going into HCC (a community college) in its 2nd semester. I was terrified that DCP wouldn't take GED but an FAQ on the site said they do so I screamed and cried for joy.

My only concern...how hard is it to get accepted?
Disney is my one joy in life and it would mean everything in the world to me to go there and WORK there. When I see cast members when I'm a guest I envy them. I wanted to be in their shoes so badly...

but the first among many questions I have, what's the criteria of acceptance at DCP?

To do the CP, you just need:
*To be at least 18 years old
*To be a current student
*To have completed at least one semester in school
*To be in good standing with your school (usually this means a 2.0 GPA).
*And to have a good personal record.

Well thank goddess someone replied I was starting to think my quest was hopeless.

but umm another few questions,

1. How much does the program cost?
2. how long do you have to be in it to be an alumni or do you stay in for however long?
3. And can you stay working as a cast member after you finish the program?

It doesn't cost anything to do the CP (except a $60 fee).

The CP varies from 4.5 months (Jan-May for Spring, and Aug-Jan for Fall) to 7.5 months (Jan-Aug for Spring Advantage, and May-Jan for Fall Advantage). There also is the Summer Alumni program, which is for people who have done the regular CP (it runs May-Aug).
Yes, you can go FT after your CP.
