Thanks
Thanks
I have seen a married couple accepted. They're planning on getting an off property apartment, or something. There's a chance that Disney will let them take a 1 room apartment, I heard. Either way, they're bringing their marriage certificate to prove it all, and I'm sure they'll get it worked out. :-)
So that kinda half answers your question. Yes, I've seen married people accepted, but since you didn't mention if your husband applied as well, this could be a different-ish situation.

No, it's not. Married couples can be accepted for the CP (either living in a 1BR in housing if both are CPs, or living off-site if only one is). And I don't believe there should be any restrictions. Good luck! :)

Re: wait time for acceptance
so. i was starting to worry bout my letter not being here yet, and i heard some people talking about how they had asked there recruiter at around 5 wks about if they knew the status yet, and they had gotten a reply with an answer through that...so i figured there'd be no harm in me doing the same and possibly getting some information...
so i emailed my recruiter yesterday, and all she sent back today was a very generic response saying something along the lines of "thank you for you interest in the disney college program. as the letter you recieved said, your profile is pending a final decision and you should here back no later than april 17".
thats it. 0.o so im back to square one, with 4 MORE WEEKS TO GO!!!!! i might die!!! >_<

Hmmm, that's wrong. If you don't get it by the 17, you can't say you can or can't do the program. I'd try to e-mail your recruiter once again explaining your situation in lengthy details and make it seem that you really want to take the offer(if you were offered a role). That or ask if they can check what happened with the mail because perhaps it got lost in the mail.
Re: wait time for acceptance
what do you mean if i dont get it by then i cant say whether i can or cant do the program? 0.0 is there a final date for fall advantage to reply??? cuz i know 2 other ppeople who got the same letter about the 17th too.. -_-

I think they have a date to cap off receiving offers or denials anything to ensure preparing the program for the offers. I am not certain but this is what I believe.
Re: wait time for acceptance
I don't know when the date is, but it should be after that. My school's presentations are on April 8th. And if you factor in the 2 week mark for accepting/declining offers, that would be April 22.
Re: wait time for acceptance
0.0 whoah!! so intead of the normal two weeks i would have to reply i would only get 5 days??? >_< well im still going to try to call in at the 6wk marker, since technically thats what the web site says you should do. i really hope i don't get it later than six weeks...which is on april 1st
Re: wait time for acceptance
Naw, you'll get a full 2 weeks from the time you receive your offer packet (if you do, of course).
Stick with it! Here's hoping it works out well for you!

Re: wait time for acceptance
I have a dumb question... I received an email from Disney today saying "Thank You For Interviewing" and gave me a contact for during the notification process... is this standard for everyone? Or should I take it as I'm on the pending list or rejected? It's only been a week since my interview, so I think it's standard... but no one's ever really mentioned it before, so I'm worried >__< Help?
