Whoo! That's a relief! Thank you : D
Finally i got in!!!!!!! after dang 8 weeks of waiting! see more about it Look at title Accepted for Fall advantage 2009
So is 7 weeks the standard wait time? My daughter is freaking out at 2.5 weeks.
No I think that was an extreme. I got mine in 4 weeks but it seems like there is a slight problem sending out the acceptance/denial packets. I know this from reading it on here and seeing with the offers I helped with in my college.
Just keep the faith and chill because it's out of your hands and it's Disney's problem at the moment.
Actually, the reason why i waited so long time because I did had my interview then got letter that said the decision was pending because of my situation. they were try to find best position for me to work and I am deaf so they are try to match me with certain people and let them know beforehand that they will work with me because of communication barrier. However, Letter said that they would send me information by april 17 so that was one month wait from date that i got letter. but it was past the date so i contacted them and it took them time to contact me back and finaly they send me the packet and email that they congratulated me.
so it was little complicated and little extreme long waiting. but it depends on which program that you applied to Fall advantage which is start in may 20 to june 15 contiuning to jan. Fall start somewhere in mid of aug so its depend on which program.
I just had my interview on the 14th, it went really well but now I have to wait and I am worried that I won't get accepted..any thoughts?
I got in:)
I am waiting on my notification, I know that a lot of nos have gone out for my PI but who knows. I hate the wait!
I applied for Spring 2010 and had my phone interview on Nov. 2 and just received a status pending letter today (the date on the letter says it was sent out Nov. 23). It says that I am supposed to hear back by January 1. My problem is that classes for my college begin and January 3 and if I were to be accepted to the program, I would need to make arrangements with my school and I would prefer to do it earlier than Jan. 1. (I hope that made sense). I know there really isn't a whole lot I can do as of right now, but I'm a littler worried that my chances are lower because I applied pretty late in the game. Does anyone know the chances of me getting an acceptance/rejection letter earlier than Jan. 1? And should I attempt contacting someone to explain my situation? My gut feeling is telling me that I might not have been accepted and I'm a little defeated right now. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
This is my second time applying since I was denied the first time last year. I made it pass the first two interviews this year (the questionnaire and the phone interview). Now I am set for a long waiting period---like December 19th, and it's currently October.
I really hate that the wait is so long. I don't like the suspense. Well, I really have no choice, but to wait. So...any of yall had a long waiting period like this?
