So Many Questions

Hi everyone
I've been looking into the College Program resintly and I'm really excited. I hope to do the Fall '09 program, but so many questions keep poping into my head. After I get one answered 10 more come up. I hope someone can help.

Firstly, I know Fall Advantage is longer then Fall, but is there an advantage of one from the other. My parents think I should take the shorter one, but I think that's mostly because I'm the only kid still living at home.

Second, the site said the apartment rates were 80-105 a week. Is this per person or per apartment. I hope it's per apartment so I'll have extra money for things like groceries and such.

Third, resumees. Do they look at these. I tring to get my together, but I've only been working for a year (2 yrs. by the time I go) so I not sure how that will effect me.

Fourth, the role checklist had a lot of good positions that I'd love to be in, but I don't want to cheak them all if that would look bad.

Fifth, I've heard that during the interview they ask you Disney related questions. I know abit about Disney, who doesn't, but compared to so many of the people on this site I know squatediddaly. I willing to learn as much as possible and have been tring to learn more, but much more do I need to know for the interview? What sort of questions are asked.

Well, that's all the questions I can think of right now. I'm sure I'll come up with more soon. Thanks.

I applied for the program a couple of years ago and got accepted (I didn't go though - family stuff), and during the interview I definitely didn't get asked "Disney" related questions. I got asked the ordinary interview stuff and about living with up to like 8 ppl.
Don't worry about it. Just be yourself, and you'll do fine!
Good luck!

Hi there. Maybe I will see you down there. I will be applying for Fall 09 myself. Now, to answer the first question- If you aren't sure about how you think you will do in FL, I would suggest doing the Fall program. If you like it, you could always extend. If you don't, you wouldn't be there as long as the Advantage program.

It is per person. I have stayed in a 3 BR for my last 2 CPs, because the 3BR is cheaper then a 2BR (which is what I stayed in my first 2 CPs).

I'm sure they look at them. But work experience won't make effect you getting into the CP. When I applied for my first CP, I had never worked before (the CP was my first real job).

You can check as little/many roles as you want. That being said, the more roles you can check, the better. This is because if you only pick a couple and they fill up, the recruiter can't offer you a spot on the CP because you didn't pick any other roles (OP, I am not talking about you in particular, but saying "you" in general"). My recruiter recommends picking around 4 roles at least. Also, make sure all roles you pick are roles you feel comfortable doing. You don't want to pick any you know you would be unhappy in, because there is a chance you get put in that role.

I wasn't really asked too many Disney-specific questions during my first interview. They were all questions about why I wanted to do the CP, roles I picked, ect.

Hopefully this helped.

No, unfortunately. No pets allowed.

I know... I would love to bring my cat. I hate thinking that I would have to leave her behind.

Anyway, Good Luck!!!
