Hi Everyone!
I just got back from my on-campus presentation and as if I wasn't addicted to doing the CP, now I definitely am. Do any of you have any tips for my interview? What type of questions will they be asking? Any help would be greatly appreciated; thanks in advance!

My interview was easier than I thought it would be. I'd never done a phone interview before so I was soo nervous.
Basically you go over the application and review that you understand basic things in the program. Then you go into your roles you selected. You pick a top 3 and receive questions about them.
My top 3 were FSFB, Attractions, and Character Attendant.
For FSFB she asked if I was able to handle computerized rezzo systesms...duh.
For attractions it was how would you go about memorizing spiels for rides?
CA was what would you do if a guest was getting rough with a character?
There has been known to be a space mountain question. Its like what would you do if a little girl really wanted to ride space mtn but was too short.

Some things to remember for the interview are:Quote:

Also, the questions range from personal questions to questions about the roles picked. The personal questions can be things like "why do you want to do the CP", "what would you do if you had an issue with one of your roomies", and so on.
Another few tips are...
- Talk about your personal history with Disney: Like if you were brought up on Disney and loved the movies, the television shows and the theme parks, do it.
- Be yourself: On the phone it is a lot easier to be yourself than live in person. as was said previously, they can tell when you are smiling on the phone lines.
- Think of "aces in your hole": I know it's a poker phrase but the idea is that a good way of describing if you are a part of a campus honor society, Eagle Scout or Gold Award honoree and that, it gives you a better standing.
- Don't forget why you are going to apply: If you are applying, you did it for a reason. Either you wanted an internship and/or saw that Disney offered jobs through an internship. Like for me I did it as a way of paying it forward. If there is in an emotion history with the Disney Company as I said in the first point, let it out

I actually just got done w/ my interview, the woman was really nice. It only took 20 minutes, I was expecting more along the lines of 30 minutes. She didn't ask me the "4 year old Space Mountain" question though. She asked me a question about team work and how I helped solve a problem. I hope I did ok, she sounded very positive. Now I just have to wait for an answer... I've heard a lot of people here didn't have to wait the full 4 weeks to receive an answer, how long did it take for you to get an answer?
It took me 4 weeks to get my letter.
my interview was only 9 minutes so i was really worried I did not get it, but I got my letter less than two weeks later.
They're doing phone interviews now? I did my CP 5 years ago and times have dramatically changed. We used to have face-to-face interviews with 2 people to 1 recruiter. Hope everyone here that's applying gets in. You'll never regret your time in the CP. I think I'd do it a couple more times if I were able!
Yes. The majority of interviews now are done over the phone. I miss the live interviews though (the interview for my first CP was live).Quote:
