Anyone want to race with me?

Hey guys,

I know this has nothing to do with the college program but I consider you guys all friends here. I want to do the fall race challenge and I want to know if anyone wants to do it with me. I need a partner for the Expedition Everest race and want someone to try and do the others with me. I'm gunna start training soon and would love to have some motivation from a partner!

Cool great idea to get in shape! what is expedition everest race? Sound good and i would like to get in shape myself and i have been do weightlifting and gymnastic club to melt my weight off slowly and building up muscles. I just dont know what race is really about? is it running marathorln ( msp)? just wondering

It is a fun, competitive 5K run, obstacle course, and scavenger hunt in Animal Kingdom.

i dont mind a slow partner, i am doing it for fun really and definetly to try and get in shape, what do you think guys? a bunch of us should do it and represent the CP!

me too i am slow runner too hehe. Sure it sound great to me and i think its good idea to get shape up and have something to forward to it!

Definitely! Fall 2009 Represent!

When I say Fall 2009, I mean both FA and Fall (it's easier to just say Fall in general).

so for the everest teams are 2 people each. lets get some people making concrete teams and lets start getting ready. remember guys these are not cheap too. so far I need a teammate, when we all figure them all out lets post them up here.

I'm not a CP, which is probably why I just found this, but if anyone is still looking for a partner, I might be tempted to enter if I can find a way to justify the entry cost. If it helps, I'm a pretty decent runner myself. I haven't run a road race since '03, but I have been doing a lot of running for the last few months, training for much longer runs (13K, half marathon, etc.), so I think I should be able to lay down a time of about 25 minutes in the 5K.
