I just got my inventation for quick sevice food and beverage!!! I can't wait. 112 days seems so long to wait.
Has anyone ever been turned down before? I watched the E-Presentation and took the web-based portion of the interview and was told that my responses didn't meet the requirements of their roles at this time. I was/still am really kinda bummed out. I am a freshman this year, so I still have time. I've been talking to everyone I can to see if I can get a phone interview. If I can't, I'm also thinking about applying at Disneyland and I've been looking into the CareerStart Program WDW offers. Congratulations to everyone who was accepted!
congratulations to everyone here! Keep trying for anyone who hasn't had any luck yet. Applying is a great step to take and this is a great opportunity.
I am applying for a PI so I will be down here around the same time!
I'm applying for the Spring 2010 CP. My phone interview is actually tomorrow night so wish me luck!!!!
I plan on applying for Spring 2010. I just have some questions. I watched the E presentation and got the code. I have to call tomorrow to schedule a phone interview. When is the interview usually? Is it a few days after you call? Should i submit the application online after i make a phone interview appointment? I just saw that there is not a lot of housing in DL. So i would have to rent my own place? Then i would not be able to do this as it would cost too much. I wish Florida was available!
Thanks!!!!!! Im nervous, i really hope i get it!
Are you talking about submitting the web-based interview? I know you have to take that before you can schedule a phone interview.
Yes i am. Ok so i have to finish it first. But if i send in the web bases interview and decide i dont want to do it do i have to wait 6 months to reapply even though i didnt do a phone interview? I really rather go to the one in Florida but they arent accepting people anymore.
yes you will have to wait the 6 months (it's a bummer I know) I applied and was not accepted, but I can't wait to apply again next semester! If you've graduated from high school within the last 48 months and would really like to go to Florida, I would recommend checking if their still accepting for the CareerStart Program.
I heard a *RUMOR* that they had to reschedule arrival dates from the Spring of 09 so perhaps they had to move other arrivals back but who knows. This was on screamscape so take it with a possible grain of salt.
Anyway even if I wanted to reapply for Spring 10(had troubles during the 2009 Summer Advantage I rather not get into) I have 4 credits to finish out at community college before transferring out of GCC to NAU.
I had my professional internship interview yesterday...definitely nervous
