Performer vs. Onstage?
Hi all!
So I'm going to apply for Spring 2010, and I was wondering if any of you alumni/current CPs could help me with a quick question!!
If you audition for a performing role and don't get accepted with that, can you still get it for something else? One of the onstage roles?
Also if you are a performer, do you do any other jobs in the parks? Because I can't imagine someone who is just a dancer in the parade only works about 3 hours a day.
Thank you everyone! And have a magical day!! :]
Any wish is possible,
all it takes is a little courage to set it free

If you don't pass the audition, they will try to put you in one of the other roles you selected. However, there is a chance the roles will be filled by the time of the audition. But that depends on the other roles selected, and how many selected.
Also, be aware that as a character performer, you mostly will be doing meet-and-greets. Many CP character performers are not trained for any of the shows/parades during their CP. And even performers who are FT and in shows/parades also do other things during the day usually (they don't just do day parade usually, for example).

Thank you that is very helpful!
And i hope it's not a silly question, but what does FT mean?

Re: Performer vs. Onstage?
FT stands for full-time. PT - part-time
