I'm going to be going to one of the campus presentations... does anyone know if you have to be enrolled with the college/university that the presentation is being held at? I did the e-presentation last year because I was getting my wisdom teeth pulled on the day my college held the presentation. The e-presentation is not so bad, I would just like to attend the live presentation

No, you don't have to be going to the school to attend a campus presentation there.

be calm and be yourself, they are looking for people that are friendly and outgoing. My first program they asked me if I would have any problem working food service. You are expected to say no but add on your first choice of locations so they know. Have a list of questions you want to ask the interviewer so they know you are really intrested in the program and NEVER SAY "I don't know"

During the interview, just remember to be relaxed (the interviewers are really nice), be honest with your answers, and smile (they can tell, even over the phone).

The questions range from personal questions (like "why do you want to do the CP?", and "what would you do if you had a problem with one of your roomates?") to questions about the roles you pick.

Wow, as an alumnist I'm very happy to be hearing how excited you all are. I wish you all the best in your interviews. njcoasterguy, which complexes have you lived in? wouldn't be surprised if you said all. when i was there in 04 i got to live in Chatham Square. What positions have you held? I was in Pinnochio's in the MK doing cash and counter. I'll agree, it's not a easy bed of roses down there. If you go in with a good attitude then you'll have a great time. Don't expect every day to be the most magical, sometimes the guests can be having a rough day and they tend to vent on CMs a bit. I lived at vista and worked at the Haunted Mansion. I still talk with alot of the people I worked/lived with and I miss them every time I look at old pictures or talk with them. I starting my 6th season as a Manager at Six Flags so i've seen and heard it all. I really do agree with you it does have its good and bad days. Also for people who have never worked in this type of field NEVER let anything at guest says to you be considered personal. That is a very easy way for you to hate the job and just take it one day at a time.

Heh, I don't think it is possible to stay sane during the wait. The last time I applied, it took 4 weeks exactly and I almost went crazy during that period.

Some people already started to get their acceptance emails last Friday! It's very exciting! I didn't think they would start accepting people so early. I hope I get an email soon! Waiting is driving me nuts and it hasn't even been a week since I interviewed! lol

dont worry my first program it took 3 - 4 weeks to get the imfamous Purple folder. So I am counting down the days and trying not to freakout that much. I am going down to wdw for next weekend so I am thinking I may get the letter while I am away

Hey everyone!

My name is Susan and I just had my phone interview on thursday, and i feel like it went really well!! I was nervous about it beforehand, but i personally think waiting is way worse! They told me i will find out from 3-6 weeks and i just don't think i can wait that long... i want to know!!!! I applied for hospitality, concierge and vacation planner, so i would really like to be in the resorts.
