The minimum amount of hours is 30 (I've already been scheduled that a couple of times now). But on average, it's usually around 40-45 or so (of course, it can also be a lot more. Especially around the holidays).

Hey Ya'll my name is Kallie and I am from Oregon, go to school in Virginia and currently reside in Texas (finishing my degree online!) haha! a little crazy!
I just had my phone interview on Monday... I am just wondering if my chances are slim because I guess I applied later than the rest of ya'll.
I really really really want to do this, but I am so nervous that I won't get in!!
So 2 questions...
1. Are my chances good even though I applied later than most?
2. How long did it take for ya'll to hear back from the program on if you were accepted?
THANKS YA'LL!!
Congrats on everybody that got accepted and I hope to see ya'll there in the Fall!
There's still time for applying. So unless you only picked 1 or 2 roles, you should be fine. :)
As for hearing back, the wait time varies greatly. I know people who have heard back around 1.5 weeks, and others who found out around 4+ weeks (then others who found out in between).
Hello! My name is Heather, and I'm from a small town in West Virginia! I have my phone interview on Thursday! I am so nervous, and this is something that I REALLLLLY want to do. I signed up for attractions, hospitality, merchandising, main entrance operations, and costuming. What do you think my chances are in getting into the program? And where I applied so late, do you think this will hinder me from being able to come down for the Fall Advantage which I know starts in mid May?
Well since like you said the advantage program starts in a few weeks i would see if u can change you program to august. they may not even be taking anyone else for the advantage program. I did attractions my first program and I loved it. also two of my roommates were in main gate, one was at MK the other was at epcot, they said they really enjoyed it. But I would really see of you can change you arrival date to august. just be happy, smile and answer you questions truthfully, and you will do fine. The interviewers are all really nice and well mannered. GOOD LUCK!!!
So I applied to extend my CP, and got the extension. But I turned down the extension...because I got FT!! Effective May 16th, I will be FT in Icon attractions!!
I would have decided to go FT, but I simply don't have the money to do so. I'll go back home, become a Campus Rep, and then go back for another Program, perhaps even an Internship. After that point, I think I'll have enough money to go FT.
I am so happy for you Joanna! You've been so looking forward to FT for so long. Glad you hung in there.
Have you picked out a place to live yet?
I'm applying for the fall now, just for the heck of it. Question though, if I go for Culinary is that going to prevent me from possibly getting anything else? It's my major so that's my choice, but it kind of looks like it's a different part of the program or something.
has anyone gotten notification that they were matched with a roommate yet
