They have the bus thing going on still don't they? I understand having a car is optimal and probably more convenient for what people want to do outside of work, but that was my impression was it's still there.

I think the bus is only for CP's. I know for a fact that the Professional Interns can't use the transportation, except for certain events, such as trips to Busch Gardens.
My BF daughter who is on her second CP Tour of Duty applied to extend through the summer. Found out today she has been declined.
She is not a happy camper. So one more opening at DHS!
Interesting. I haven't heard of that. And the PI site states that PIs "are required to have their own transportation to get to and from their work location."
I didn't get it, they just said there were a lot of people that were interested and a limited amount of opportunities. (which I totally got the last time I tried, but I knew I bombed that interview and accepted that.) So I'm not sure if my rehire request wasn't lifted or it being 3 weeks before the alumni program started that there really just was no room. I e-mailed one coordinator and followed up asking if I apply for fall or spring can I be considered and is there any way to find out my rehire status? We'll see, this was a long shot anyways. It's wonderful to know I made it this far though, just keep trying and don't give up.
I already know that I'll do another College Program. But I must first become a Campus Rep, retain my benefits, and remain on good standing with the Company. The only reprimands I've received came from my calling into work enough. But there were legitimate health reasons for that. Sometimes, you are simply too sick to do anything, and that was the case for me twice. I am somewhat concerned about those reprimands being constrictive, but if they ask about it, all I can do is honestly explain the situation. Since the reprimands weren't for behavioural reasons, I shouldn't have too many difficulties, I think.
Anyways, after I complete my next CP, whenever that is, I don't know what to do. Perhaps at that point I'll be ready to go full-time. I would have done so this time, had I had the money to remain down here.
There must be other ways too. My sons direct supervisor when he was leaving made him Seasonal even though he was returning to college.
He still has his benefits and receives the free passes etc. every few months in the mail and hefty room discount offers. She told him he could return anytime he wanted to.
I think it's a little late to go Seasonal at this point, as my Program ends on the 14th of May. Plus, I would have had to save up money for when I eventually would come back down for shifts. Rent, tuition, books, usw are already expensive enough. And it's not as if the job market back home is in great shape, so it may be awhile before I find steady work. Although the Disney Store may be hiring, and who knows? There may actually be some former (or perhaps even current) Cast Members there. Having the Program on my resume could possibly give me an edge in getting hired there.
I'm applying for the fall now, just for the heck of it. :) Question though, if I go for Culinary is that going to prevent me from possibly getting anything else? It's my major so that's my choice, but it kind of looks like it's a different part of the program or something.
