Hola! ok.....so i applied a cpl weeks ago to do the summer alumni program for 2010, had my interview last Wednesday. and then of course i had the not-so-fun waiting period.....anyone else applied for the alumni program??? heard anything????

I applied, had the interview back on like Feb. 6th and just got a letter today saying they're pending a final decision. I guess this is a positive thing, it's just totally nerve wracking!!! (The reason it took so long originally was because I needed to fax them something for them to review.) So now I have to wait until April 30th at the latest for an update on my status!!! (pray it's positive? :D ) Anyone else get news?
i did the summer alumni program back in 2002...it's nice since they put you in alumni only buildings and you don't have to go through traditions again...good luck:)
I GOT IN!!!!! :) all smiles! AND on top of that, they had a special alumni opportunity which allowed ppl to start in either March or April, u had to send an email in to be considered, and I GOT MARCH!!! I'm so excited, my arrival date is March 24, not long from now. @vdonohue, good luck, i'm sure you'll get it. this march and april opportunities thingy is leading me to infer that they have space available, so i'm sure you have nothing to worry about, but trust me, i understand how much the waiting period ****s. i got one of those emails too, saying that i had to wait until such-and-such time to get a reply, and i had a great outcome! keep us posted :) @formerfigmentcp, wow, i didn't know i didn't have to do traditions again, that rocks! lol, not that traditions ****ed, it was just long. hopefully this means that i'll get to work sooner and start making some moolah, cuz we know how hard those first two weeks are. i also didn't know that they were alumni only buildings, that's cool too! thanks for the input!
Actually, Traditions depends on when you last worked (on my Summer Alumni program in 2007, my roomate had to retake Traditions).
how much time was there between her programs? mine were 2 years apart
aww man.....my last cp was 01/2008-06-2008............i'm hoping i don't have to do it again..........that was right at two years ago
I am pretty sure if it's been over 1 year, you have to retake Traditions (I think her CPs were around 2 years apart).
Darn! oh well........i'll be glad to be back at home with the magic. Bring on the Traditions!
my programs were feb-may 2000 and june 2002 and i did not have to retake traditions...im not sure what the rules are though
The last time I worked for the company was 2002 and I'm about 90% sure I'll have to take Traditions if I get this. They said I will hear something by April 30th (and it starts May 14th or so!!X_X) so I'm hoping it's positive and sooner than that to plan things and get my ticket.
Got an e-mail friday asking me to fill out and fax the the rehire request application within the week. Basically it asks my 7 years employment and why I was terminated (attendance back then, due to unreliable transportation) and why I feel I should be considered for re-employment. I'm pretty sure this is the final decision and we'll see what happens fairly soon I hope!
