Spring Advantage 2011 Application!
Hello All!
Basically, I am DYING to do the Spring Advantage 2011 CP!! Does anyone know when the applications usually come out (I am already registered to get the email notification from Disney, but I just wanted to know what the norm was without waiting :) I am planning on doing the web presentation because my school usually doesn't do its presentation until November, and I don't want to wait that long! Also, any ideas when they will post the CP character audition dates/places/times??
A few other questions I have:
1. I know everyone says smile, be big BIG, and have fun! but... any other advice anyone can give me on auditions. I am 5' 1/2" inches tall and have never had any formal dance training (I did take a ballroom dancing class a couple of semesters ago, but I dont think that really counts, lol) Also, how many people audition vs. how many people are cast as characters?
2. Which apartment complex would you recommend?
3. Which Disney classes would you recommend taking?
4. What is the web interview like?! I know people who I thought would be PERFECT for the program, but they didn't get past the web part!
5. I have read plenty of forums about the phone interview, so I won't ask about it here. BUT, I do want to know - would I do the phone interview before or after the character audition?
Basically, I am having a really, really, REALLY hard time waiting for the application to come out because I want to be best friends with some furry friends at Disney in the spring!!
Thanks in advance for your advice :D

Re: Spring Advantage 2011 Application!
The online application usually goes up in Aug, and the school presentations usually start in Sept. As for the auditions, they probably will take place around Oct-Nov. As for the other questions:
1. Those are pretty much the main ones. Of course, there are things that can't be helped (with height being the main one).
2. I highly recommend Chatham (I lived there for 5 of my 6 CPs).
3. I took Exploring Heritage and Exploring Leadership, and loved them.
4. Unfortunately I can't answer this one (as I never took it).
5. It would be before

Thanks so much! Now its just a few long months of waiting...
One more question. You have to wait until after you audition to find out if you have been accepted into the program right? They don't accept you on your second choice on a temporary basis do they? How many roles are usually available after auditions are finished?
Re: Spring Advantage 2011 Application!
It used to be that way. Now things are different. If you are accepted, you can get accepted into another role before the audition (then if you pass the audition, you will be switched to performer).
