Family visiting
I was just wondering if any current and/or former CP'ers have any advice on family/friends coming to visit during your CP.
My CP is from Aug 10th - Jan 6th and my family wants to plan a sort of "holiday" trip since I won't be home for the holidays. (First time missing them. :( )
Anyways, anyone who's done the Fall program before, I know there are peak times when we'll be working a ton and will have very little time to do anything else. I just want to make sure they come down and we are able to visit. Hopefully I'll have some days off while they're there so we can truly enjoy the parks together. So, maybe late August - September before the holiday stuff really kicks in? I'm not sure. I've never been to the parks in any other season but Summer.
Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Re: Family visiting
My DD and I went down near Thanksgiving and returned after to visit my DS. It was great, decorations all up for the holidays.
Just remember you get a discount for your family after you start your program.
Christmas was the only time my DS was a tad sad not to be home. I came up with great surprise for Christmas Day for the DS. If your parents are at all interested have them PM me and I will share my surprise with them.

Re: Family visiting
Thank you! I just worry about them coming down and not getting to see them at all. Do you think that'll be the case?

KacieG's CP Adventure!
Gonna start a new thread about my CP, if that's cool with everyone. :)

Re: Family visiting
You can request time off. There is never any guarantee. However, the earlier you put it in, the better the chance of it being approved is. Also, you can try giving shifts away as well
