MAJOR question

Ok. Right now, I'm about to start my senior year at Fairfield University. I've already asked my school whether or not I would be able to do the program, and they said that the only way I would be allowed to do it would be for me to take a voluntary semester off. Since I really didn't want to mess with my enrollment at the school, especially during my senior year, I opted to not do the program. However, I did read that as long as I was enrolled in college at the time, I could apply to go the semester after I graduate. That would mean that I could go for Fall 2012, which would be perfect. My question is: Is the fact that my school wouldnt let me do the program while I was enrolled going to affect me, even though I would be doing the program AFTER I graduate? Like, does Disney need to get permission from my school to let me go, even though I'll have already earned my degree??

Disney never needs permission for you to go. You can choose to go whenever you'd like. Most colleges will let you do a leave of absence, which does not mess with enrollment whatsoever.

The short answer: yes you can do it after you graduate. You only need to be enrolled in college at the time you APPLY to do the program, not while you're in the program. 2 of my roommates just graduated Spring 2011 and are both in the program.

So, apply in Spring 2012 while you're still in classes and then when you've graduated you'll be down here for Fal 2012!

Doing the CP after graduating is fine. In fact, that's what I did for my 5th CP (I had my last class in July 2009, and went down on the CP about 3 weeks later).

Good luck with getting that all straightened out...you should be fine. I'm still on the edge about if I still want to do a CP program or not.

But I really wanted to bud in...because I was reading through and saw "Rutherford", followed by Montclair State. I'm from right in that area...Nutley. My sister used to take swimming lessons at Rutherford High School...and I of course have a bunch of friends that go to Montclair State. Small world!

Yep, I took swimming lessons there too....and obviously went to High School there haha. It really is such a small world!
